In her spare time, Dr. Chhabra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, baking, cycling and hiking.

Biography

Dr. Chhabra is a native of New Jersey where she earned her B.A. in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University. She was on the Dean’s list throughout college and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national pre-medicine honors society. Dr. Chhabra obtained her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, New York. She continued to be actively involved in clubs and research throughout professional school and published in the NYCPM Podiatric Medical Review.

Dr. Chhabra completed her residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York, serving as chief resident during her final year. During residency training, she performed numerous surgical cases, consisting of elective forefoot correction, reconstructive rearfoot surgery, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage. She has also attended multiple conferences and workshops to enhance her abilities and skills in the field. During residency she presented case studies at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons annual Scientific Conference in 2021 and 2022.

Whether it is conservative care or surgical intervention, Dr. Chhabra strives to deliver personalized and compassionate patient care for her patients, consistently supported by the latest technology and evidence-based medicine. She prioritizes listening to and understanding patient concerns and goals, as well as educating them on their conditions and personalized treatment plans.
