Dr. Ankita Dharia is native to Northern Virginia and was brought up in Alexandria. She attended VCU after graduating high school, where she obtained her bachelors degree in Biology. While volunteering in her spare time and preceptoring as a research assistant at VCU, she developed a strong interest in medicine and decided to pursue it. She subsequently proceeded to Philadelphia, PA where she obtained her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University.

Dr. Dharia finished her surgical training and residency at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ. After residency, she decided to come back to her home state and has been working at our practice since then.

When she is away from the practice, Dr. Dharia enjoys reading, baking, and painting in her spare time. Growing up locally, she understands that the patient population of NOVA is more active than other areas. Her ultimate goal in approaching any treatment plan is to get you back on your feet doing the things you love the most. She believes in treating patients the same way she would want her family treated.

Dr. Dharia is currently credentialed at Virginia Hospital Center and Fairfax Surgery Center.
